The 21st century has been called the century of the environment.
Increasing attention is being paid to the concentration of carbon dioxide in the air, which produces the greenhouse effect, to dioxins and asbestos that cause life-threatening effects, and to the safety of product materials and foods, seen as a root cause of environmental issues.
As the public today has a higher interest in the environment than ever before, chemical analyses, measurements and surveys with high reliability are of growing importance
.There are many things that we at Nihon Environmental Services can do to conserve our irreplaceable environment.

Vision 1:Enhancement of an in-house laboratory network to increase market share

The measurement and certification services are designed to person the measurement, analysis and certification required by state and local governments. Mass processing of samples in a major laboratory enables fast, cost-effective and competitive services.
The Japanese measurement and certification industry is characterized by a larger number of small-scale operators than seen in Western markets. There is room for improvement in efficiency. Our Tokyo Laboratory is already innovative, but to achieve greater concentration and the higher efficiency, we will expand our existing laboratories. In addition, we have set up new laboratories in Western Japan to expand our internal laboratory network to nationwide scale to provide highly competitive services.

Vision 2:High value-added services based on the higher quality control laboratories

Traditionally food and product component analysis has been considered as outside of the category of environmental measurement. However, the scope of environmental issues is now growing after the European Union’s RoHS Directive and mounting public interest in traceability related to safety of food and product materials.
Nihon Environmental Services has been pioneering efforts to tackle these subjects. We will continue with our independent research and development without being swayed by the conventional definition of environmental issues and we will actively introduce overseas technologies so that we can offer a broad range of high value added services in the area of safety in clothing, food and housing.

Vision 3:Global expansion of solutions business

Going forward, the environmental industry is likely to experience a major trend towards the provision of services from a global standpoint. Nihon Environmental Services will make two different efforts for globalization.
One effort is to adopt international standards in risk assessment and other services. For example, soil pollution and other environmental risks often act as adverse factors to real estate transactions. In line with economic globalization, we will introduce international standards so that we can respond to the needs of overseas enterprises and investors.
The other effort is overseas expansion of our established technologies for environmental impact assessment. Nowadays environmental destruction attributable to China’s rapid economic growth often raises concerns. Even in developing countries, interest in environmental issues is consistently rising. As a member of the international community, Nihon Environmental Services will address environmental questions from a global perspective.

Our social obligations includes the responsibility to create legally compliant reports, the legal responsibility to obey laws, regulations and rules as a member of society, the ethical responsibility to respect human rights and to take action in line with society's standards, and the responsibility to make a social contribution as a good corporate citizen that advances in step with society through its work. Constantly reminding ourselves of the need to complete these tasks, we remain committed to sound management based on self-responsibility, and will seek to practice fair and transparent in our corporate management so that we can exist as part of our community.

Given the gravity of its social responsibilities, Nihon Environmental Services is unable to achieve sustained business growth without the confidence of its customers.
The customer-oriented principle followed by Nihon Environmental Services does not mean accepting any request from customers or serving our customers without regard to profitability. At Nihon Environmental Services, every single officer and employee is required to constantly think about how they can offer services that customers really need, quickly and cost effectively. Nihon   Environmental Services aspires to win the further trust of customers by keeping this principle in mind to finance new investments and to launch new services funded by the earnings that come from customer confidence in our services.
